The payment policy of the Pelicci Pain Relief Center is that professional fees must be paid at the time of service. Chronic pain patients require some level of testing to accurately establish an appropriate diagnosis. In addition, testing is required in follow-up to assess the progression of the disease. Testing would vary from patient to patient. Fees for testing and diagnosis are separate from professional fees. The Pelicci Pain Relief Center will bill the patient's insurance company for this diagnostic testing. Every attempt will be made to accept the payment from the insurance company as payment in full if the said payment is reasonable. Patients will be billed separately for any laboratory work, physical therapy, etc. if performed at outside facilities. Ultimately, the responsibility for payment rests with the patient. The Pelicci Pain Relief Center is not involved with any PPO or HMO carriers. Acceptable types of insurance are Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare, Private Insurance, Point of Service Policies, Workmen's Compensations and auto insurance. The center also accepts VISA and MasterCard to assist in the payment of services.
